AccessibilityThe museum is equipped with devices for disabled access. The pavement is connected to the street. Wheelchair accessibility on the ground floor is possible by means of a ramp. The use of electric scooters and wheelchairs is limited and evaluated on a case-by-case basis in order to guarantee the safety of the museum spaces and works. The Chapel of the Princes, on the first floor, can be reached by lift and from there by a platform-elevator to the New Sacristy. The lift service must be requested at the information point at the entrance and staff will accompany applicants. We do not yet have facilitated access for people with different abilities to the toilets.
AudioguidesThey are available in Italian, English. Cost: euro 6.00 per single unit, euro 10.00 per double unit.
BookshopIt is located at the entrance to the museum. Museum guides in several languages, art publications and objects inspired by the exhibits are on sale.
CloakroomAccess to the museum is permitted with small bags or backpacks. A number of key lockers are available, which are handed out by the staff at the entrance upon deposit of one's ID. Due to the limited number of lockers available, student groups may not use them. Luggage, suitcases and large backpacks are not allowed. Umbrellas must be brought along during the visit.
