Corridoio Vasariano

From 21 December 2024, the Vasari Corridor officially reopens to the public. To access the Vasari Corridor, online booking is compulsory. The ticket, available for purchase from 10 December, also includes a visit to the Uffizi Gallery.

Visits to the Corridor will start from an ad hoc entrance on the ground floor of the Uffizi, continuing over the Ponte Vecchio and reaching across the Arno River to the Medici Boboli Gardens and the Grand Ducal Palace of Palazzo Pitti.

Galleria dell'Accademia

The birth of the Gallery dates back to 1784, when the Grand Duke of Tuscany Pietro Leopoldo reorganised the ancient Accademia delle Arti del Disegno, founded in 1563 by Cosimo I de’ Medici, into the modern Accademia di Belle Arti.
