From the recovery of the historic Officine Aeronautiche Caproni founded in 1910 in Malpensa comes Volandia. A Park and Museum dedicated to the DREAM OF FLIGHT: more than 60,000 sq. m. of pure industrial archaeology just a ten-minute walk from Terminal 1 and the Malpensa Express station.
A plunge into the history of aeronautics and space for an unforgettable trip that starts right from the journey and the passage through the airport.
There are as many as 11 areas of the museum: from pioneering balloon flights to the Convertiplane, a perfect fusion of horizontal and vertical flight.
Many exciting settings, video rooms, an educational planetarium and a pavilion entirely dedicated to space.
Large play areas also indoors and for older children a flight simulator section.
