There is a large covered reception area and large STORE at the entrance for unique flight-themed gifts and purchases and a café bar the VOLANDIA FLIGHT CAFE’ (free access with no ticket purchase required).
Picnicking is allowed in the specially equipped areas of the museum at the green areas. Animals are allowed in all areas of the museum with the exception of the children’s area, and owners are obliged to abide by the general rules concerning the protection of public safety from aggression by dogs and relating to the collection of droppings. Smoking is prohibited in all outdoor children’s play areas.
Equipped picnic areas are also available in the nearby Ticino Park (center park former Austro-Hungarian customs house fraz. Tornavento – Lonate Pozzolo (VA).
Notice – Winter Season
We inform visitors that during the winter season only some areas will be heated and in particular:
Entrance/Ticket Office/Volandia Store, Volandia Baby Areas, Bistro, Planetarium, Library, Conference Room
The museum’s exhibition hangars are not heated
In case of snow or ice, Volandia reserves the right to close for safety reasons
